Partner

Mok Chansothea

Mr. Sothea is a Partner and the Founder of Sithisak Law Office following his admission to the Bar Association of Cambodia in 2009.

After graduating in 2006 from a prestigious Notary School in France, Sothea worked as legal assistant and legal trainee in Public Notary Office of Maître GÉRARD KAEUFLING. Prior to starting his own firm, Sothea has worked for DFDL, an international law firm specialized in emerging markets.

 

He was also a Legal Advisor at Mong Reththy Group (MRG), a major agro-industrial company in Cambodia and the Region. He has extensive experiences advising Major Cambodian and international companies on various transactions ranging from investment, real estate and construction, Economic Land Concession -with focuses on palm oil, rubber, and sugar cane-, company formation, business expansion, employment issue, commercial contracts, securities, to insolvency matters. He is fluent in Khmer, French and English.

Tann Meng Sroy

Mr. Meng Sroy is a Partner of Sithisak Law Office, a general practice firm and one of the major legal service providers in the Kingdom of Cambodia. He was admitted to the Bar Association of Cambodia in 2003 and joined Sithisak Law Office from another leading law firm in October 2010.

 

With more than 10 years of experience as a trial lawyer, MengSroy has expertise in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation and criminal law issues, both in Court and out. He has acted for high net worth individuals and small to medium sized companies on all every aspect of litigation work including preparing advices, appearing on mediation, negotiation and arbitration, crafting negotiated settlements, taking a case to trial if necessary. In these recent years, he acted for a more sophisticated client base with a focus on complex commercial litigation. He speaks Khmer, French (fair) and English (fair).

Bell Sak Pheakdey

Mr. Pheakdey is a Legal Advisor at Sithisak Law Office, a general practice firm and one of the major legal service providers in the Kingdom of Cambodia. He also serves as Law Lecturer at many prestigious universities in the Kingdom.

Prior to joining Sithisak Law Office, Pheakdey has worked for various public and private agencies ranging from Ministry of Justice, Cabinet d’avocat Saint-Avit & Bussillet , Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia/United Nations Assistance to Khmer Rouge Trials, Court of Appeal of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to Justice & Associates. Furthermore, He has also assisted various ministries and government agencies in drafting legislation and advising on legislative reform. He speaks Khmer, French and English.

Managing Director

Son Sokeng

Mr. Sokeng is a Managing Director and an Attorney at Law at Sithisak Law Office, a general practice firm and one of the major legal service providers in the Kingdom of Cambodia. He also gives lectures in field of Labor law, Business law, Special Contracts and Philosophy of Law at many prominent universities in Cambodia.

After graduating with high standing from Royal University of Law and Economics, Sokeng attended the Institute of Labor Studies of Lyon, Lumière Lyon 2 University in France. He was trained as labor law specialist by many reputable professors and lawyers in France and from other European Countries. Prior to joining Sithisak Law Office in 2013, he served as a legal trainee at Global Transitions in Paris, one of leading immigration firms in France, where he gained a wealth of practical knowledge and experiences helping progress his career as a Labor Law specialist. He has also worked with many eminent lawyers from Singapore at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. He speaks Khmer, French and English.
